Money is a good servant but an awful master(Quote). I believe when you have it, it only magnifies everything about you. If you are a good person, you will undoubtedly do good things with it. If you’re a jerk, it’ll only magnify that. Money is like a tool(Quote). You should choose to use this tool how you see it, to perfectly fit. You are required to control money, it shouldn’t control you. Don’t love money and at the same time don’t waste money. Love to money can make you feel weak. Use it at right time and at right place.

Money just gives you options, but those options are yours to do what you will. Money is the root of unleashing goals and dreams. Some people say money is the root of all evil, but it is not so. Money tells about your inner thoughts and feelings and reveals your inner emotions to the world. It represents the means to be happy but does not buy happiness. Half the world will be more evil than the average person, and the other half will be more awesome than the average person, which side you choose to be on is yours. Money can be used for all sorts of awesomeness. It is absolutely possible to have a lot of money and still be poor in life, and it is also very possible to have very little money but have a very rich life.

I don’t believe that I ever consciously look at money in either of these ways; I’ve more just looked at it as a measurement. It certainly makes your life easier.  It becomes the root of all evil when you worship it above other good things. When it came to what I would do with the money, I never really cared and ended up just saving. I would consider myself to be very money neutral. You might like How to Build Confidence.

Money is the root of different paths (Quote) . It is up to the individual on what path they must follow. Either they want to make it a servant or a master. It can be good if you use it for good and bad if you use it for bad things. Contributing a certain amount to nonprofit organizations is a path worth following from my view.

Looking forward to your expert opinion. What is money to you?

  1. It’s a social construct. We created it. It certainly means different things to different people. One thing I’ll say. If you have it you can do great things for you and for others.

I absolutely agree with the neutrality of money. But what makes money seem like an evil entity in the first place?

I love your perspective on money here, it only magnified the real person you are! Pretty cool perspective!!

  5. This is great. Money is just the vehicle things can ride on—the more money a good person has, the better off the world is. The more money a wicked person has, the worse off the world is. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Love this share!. Especially “you can have all money and still be poor……vice versa”

Very true!. Because some folks are rich (money wise) but they hardly or don’t give a damn about welfare to lives who don’t. 😟
A life is rich by its output!

All of your quotes are good as well as your content. Money is the basic need of mankind. Because I am Indian.. can tell about the out line of Indian middle class, who consider money as their respect, pride and so on. They even approach and have friendly terms with their equally ranked people they don’t even have link with upper class people. If at all they have, that relationship won’t be that good. Money is a very big issue, here.

What I stated here is all I personally witnessed here. And I too believe that, money makes many things! And your point on being a neutralist on money is so very good.. can see your broad mind towards materialism. Keep going.✌

Money is an item, an object. The problem is not the item but how we (humans) relate to it. To me it’s not a matter of rendering money either a master or a slave but to see that all ways it is being used – nowadays – are not following nature’s teachings, but faulty manmade structures. I repeat – the banknotes are not the problem, but how we relate to them. We can change our relationship to money very simply by observing and understanding how a tree behaves in its relationship with water, how an ant behaves in its relationship with crumbles… If we could see, understand and reshape our relationship with money accordingly to what nature teaches, then money would as a tool simply symbolise crumbles and water! Our problems would very simply stop.

  10. How fitting this post of yours is. I have always thought money does not make you happy and yes you could have all the money in the world and be the loneliest person. I believe we need money to survive but we do take it to a bit of an extreme. Like they say as well you will be er have enough money to make you happy.

I Love to hear from you
