How to Overcome Fear of Success

Fear of Success may happen many times. Whenever somebody wants to start something new, he has a fear of success in his mind. Different thoughts and thinking are generated in his mind. He feels that only he is doing this new thing. He has a fear of stepping out from the comfort zone, fear of being seen, fear of community, fear of managing time, fear of facing people, fear of what people will say, fear of the unknown, and many more fears.

State of fear is not a constant state of mind, everybody can overcome fear. This fear always holds us back in life to try new things. We can overcome fear by just practicing a few simple but most important steps.

Are you feel fear in mind, whenever you want to step out of your comfort zone?

I have met many people suffering from these types of fears. They are always afraid of taking their first step to start their journey. Some of them start their journey but give up very soon at the beginning because they do not take their first step at the right time. Remember! Fear doesn’t make one grow in any way.

How to overcome fear and anxiety?

How to Overcome Fear

We need to accept the presence of fear and then look for ways to handle it and work with it, rather than deny it and look for excuses. It’s okay to be afraid but this doesn’t mean to give up. Achieving Balance, balancing courage and fear, stops growing. fear makes your cowardice and courage make you grow. Discouragement and failure are two of the indisputable stepping stones to success.

What is a fear?

Fear is nothing but it exists. It is a false positive state of mind and thinking. Fear is a state of mind where people feel unsafe and insecure. Fear always cripples. It has a way to cripple your progress, so you have to fight through it. Unless you overcome fear, you can’t realize the real power of your inner potential. Fear is simply a piece of false evidence appearing real.

“Having a Fear of Fear always conquers your Fears”.

You have to remove the straight jacket of fear, that can leave us paralyzed, unable to make a move and make progress. Once you make a strong vision in your life and start with an extreme power of motivation, fear can’t change your mind. It begins to become a memory that can’t hold you back. So what you have to do is, that, “You have to change your mind, change your life and impact this world”. The death of fear is certain.

Remember one point that, our community has a powerful impact on us. The people we choose to be with can make a difference in how we feel about fear. There are many people surrounding us. We have to avoid those people who make us feel weak. They always try to demotivate us. They love to be free and feel jealous of others working hard and making progress. We will have to avoid these people. If we do not avoid these people, our all efforts will be all in unproductive.

Here are 10 tips to overcome fear of Success:

  1. Change your mind and start thinking positively.
  2. Believe in yourself, start rewarding yourself for the goodness within you.
  3. Join the company of courageous and motivated people.
  4. Inspire yourself by believing in yourself and your abilities.
  5. Do the opposite of what you think “You can’t do”, because “you can do”.
  6. Develop success from failures, because failure gives you experience and learning.
  7. Never get upset with failures.
  8. Take lessons from failures and do not repeat the mistakes.
  9. Feed your mind with inspirational books and successful people’s life stories.
  10. Transfer your knowledge to others, It will improve your confidence and knowledge.

Enjoy and celebrate each of your successes and always take feedback from fellows. Note down your successes and feedback, and take a visit on a daily basis or whatever you get time. Here is How to Control Emotions?

Once you let fear flow through you, a feeling of grace and lightness will catch you, exactly there where wisdom and success lay. You will be rewarded with what you do and what you think. Remember “God helps those who help themselves”. Marianne Williamson says, “We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously gem other people permission to do the same”.

Why do these things happen to us?

  11. Being retired military, I always found it helpful to create fear rather than accept it. 🙂

Wow, that’s awesome, I’m always feel fear, whenever passing an army person. They are really so bold and hard people. Please accept my salute from idealinspiration.blog, thank you so much for your time and honorable response to my blog. It really means a lot to me.

      • When you pass a military person, the vibe you are getting from them is confidence, not a reason to feel fear. The military instills an overwhelming confidence because they give you the tools to deal with…well…other peoples anger and misgivings. In a time of crises, a veteran can quickly become your best friend.

I once read a book called Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer, a well known Christian author. Battles are fought and won in the mind. I agree with you- it’s so important to surround ourselves with people who don’t drag us down and fill ourselves with inspiration. I find that I can’t win against some of the fears on my own- I need to put my trust in God who is love, because ” Perfect love casts out fear”. I can’t know everything about the future but because He already knows every day and nothing is impossible for Him and also because He has my best interests at heart, I can trust Him with childlike faith.

    • Rising Star says:

Right mezruth, we all should believe in God blindly, God’s knows more than us, that what is good and what is bad for us. He loves us more than anything else. He knows the sensations of our feelings and listen to the bits of our hearts. Thanks again mezruth for all your kind words.

  16. Great post. I’ve found that paralysis is the enemy, not fear. – tsk

Mariann Williamson’s quote is one of my favorites! And believe me, I love quotations! This was very inspirational. I’ve learned that, surprisingly, not everyone is afraid of failure. Failure can be enough for someone to deal with mediocrity. But some people are actually afraid of succeeding. They wonder if they’ll be able to meet the demands that success would bring. I try to keep in mind that if it’s what God wants for you, he will prepare you for it and he will make your path straight. And always appreciate the absolute power that failure has to teach very valuable lessons! Sure, failure isn’t fun, but use it to improve-now you know what NOT to do and WHY! 😉Be brave!!!

    • Rising Star says:

Thank you so much Laronda for such a wonderful response. You are absolutely right. Some people really afraid that may be they are not able to meet the functional requirements of their success. Failure can make one stronger for the next attempt and teach a lot of things. Keep up the good work and thank you so much for your time and honorable response to my blog.
