If your site is among the 9% that gets organic traffic from Google, that’s awesome and good for your web page. But, if your web page is in the list of 91% that doesn’t get traffic from Google, it’s probably because of one of these six reasons I’m about to list below.

How to Rank Website in Google

1. Backlinks:

Backlinks are like the backbone of any web page. The more the backlinks the higher will be the Page authority and Domain authority. Authority checker helps you determine your Page authority and Domain authority and Backlinks. Backlinks are very much necessary and helpful to rank your site on Google. If you’re writing astonishing content or providing incredible services, you’ll naturally generate backlinks.

If your web page doesn’t have sufficient backlinks, your site will never be ranked in Google. According to the research, Ahrefs shows the linear correlation between backlinks and search traffic. Authority Hacker has also found that backlinks are still the most strongly correlated factor for good SEO ranking. Here correlation means that the more backlinks you can get, the better your chances of getting organic search traffic from Google.

2. Keywords:

Keywords research and targeted keywords are as necessary as the content. Content without targeting Keywords is useless. If you are writing a topic that nobody is searching for then this can snatch very limited traffic from Google. So good targeted keywords help your site rank in Google.

So if your site is not ranked in Google. It means you’re not targeting keywords with enough search traffic potential. That’s why you’re still not going to get any traffic. So don’t underestimate the power of keyword research. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest in comparison.

So select a keyword you want to rank with, Put it in a Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest tool. Check the search results and ranking status. It’ll show if that keyword’s easy to rank for, getting a lot of search traffic, and all the other related terms out there that also get a ton of volume that you should be targeting. Then start focusing on that keyword.

3. Tags:

Tags are another common factor that affects your website rank on Google. Title tags, H1 tags, and Meta tags should be in the passion of your targeted keywords. Research has shown that there’s a strong correlation between keywords in the H1 tags and title tags and website ranking.

Therefore put your targeted Keywords in Title tags, H1 tags, and Meta tags to rank website in Google. These Tags will definitely work for your website to rank in Google.

4. Search Snippets:

Search Snippets is the another important factor that helps a website rank in Google. If you are not getting ranks in Google, it means you’re not influencing search snippets. Rich search snippets help in describing your site to search engines. Rich Snippets are Google search results in which additional data displayed in search results. General Rich Snippet types include recipes, reviews, and events.

Authority checker encourages using rich search snippets for high-volume keywords. If you’re not enforcing things like FAQ schema markup, you’re missing out on organic traffic from Google.

Enable HTTPS:

Enabling HTTPS is pretty much a standard these days to help your website rank in Google. It shows that your site is secured and trustworthy from spam attacks.

Therefore if you have not enabled HTTPS, enable it at your first priority. Previously it was not as important as today’s for best SEO results.

Website Size and Uploading Speed:

Website Uploading Speed is another factor that affects your website ranking in Google. High response time slows down search engine crawling, as a result, the search engine doesn’t crawl your website quickly and load it at the end of showing results. High response time also results in bad user experience.

So there’s a less response time then the quicker will be the search engine crawling. Try to keep your page size smaller than 125 kb and the response time should not be more than 0.4 seconds.
